Web Based IDE
This is my favorite link for this week. A online IDE that lets you code simple programs within a web page. Would make a great teaching tool, supports Basic, Pascal, Ansi C, Perl, Lisp + JavaScript. Well worth a look.

Linux Distro timeline
A really great visualization of how each Linux distro was created and where it came from.

Syndicate content with Zend Framework Zend_Feed classes
Another great reason for using the Zend Framework is one the Feed classes. They allow you to consume them or to produce them. The way you do both uses the same structure which makes it easy to learn. Alex has written a good article on the use of the Feed classes.

PHP coding tip: Convert notices and warnings into Exceptions
This coding tip demonstrates how to deal with PHP core notices and warning (aka recoverable errors) in the exception way, using try/catch statement. Useful if you are not using something like the Zend platform but want to catch the warnings/notices and do something other than output them to the screen.

WordPress Guides
Great resource of wordPress related content. Covers installation, testing, CSS, themes, Spam and lots more!

Javascript Chart Plotting
I was looking around recently for client side chart renderer. This is probably not the most extensive library but it is nice and simple to use and it can render nice graph & pie charts.

Tooltips for Prototype
Need a tooltip solution? This is a great extension to prototype. Really simple to use anywhere in your html.
