PHP Programming Contest Closed

I am a little late closing the contest tonight as I had to deal with a random wasp nest that I managed to run over while mowing my lawn. The wasps were not too happy with this invasion of their privacy and decided that this green buzzing device (my mower) was definitely to blame and spent an hour attacking it. I decided to leave them too it and retired to watch from a distance. Anyway, I digress. The competition is now closed so please do not submit any further entries (unless you have any wasp like excuses for why your late submitting it!)
Many thanks to everyone who has helped promote the competition and to everyone that has submitted an entry. I am really looking forward to looking through all the entries and getting the judging underway. I will be collecting some of the prizes from Zend at the conference tomorrow in readiness to send out.

I really like to hear how many entries you’ve got.

I ran over a wasp nest in my teens when I was mowing my neighbor’s lawn. I still remember hauling a** down the street swatting at my legs. I must have looked insane. I think I had about 25 or 30 stingers pulled out of me. No fun at all!
Looking forward to the judgment round!

I’m really excited to see the results. I don’t imagine that you’ll publish all the entries, so I’ll leave a link to mine here and hope others do the same.
Thanks so much for hosting this!

I’ll post mine here too. I’ll write up a quick explanation later explaining what, and showing some of the code.

I didn’t have a fast enough, public server to present you mine example. But there is some explanation in my blog. You even find the algorithm sourcecode there and If somebody is intrested I can publish the hole source. As it is only 100 LoC (whitout the Algorithm) it might be easy to read.

When the result is expected to be released?

The judging has taken longer than first thought. I just posted a quick update on how we are getting on - http://blog.assembleron.com/2007/07/10/competition-update/
Hopefully it will not be much longer.
